I’ve been teaching English since 2009 at a college in London, and have taken part in many training sessions to help teachers improve their teaching methods in the classroom. Like many English teachers, I wasn’t planning to become a teacher but sort of just fell into it through a friend who suggested that I try it because I was good at explaining things :-). I originally studied Psychology at Westminster University and was interested in human behaviour and the mind. I worked at a nursing home for about 3 years as an activity co-ordintor for the elderly and physically disabled.
